Application Process for Non-Scholarship Students (2022 Covid-19 Control Period)-2022.06.10
The Visa now is open for students who study for at least 6 months,15 hours a week, which means that have the Chinese course from Monday to Friday as 150 hours full-time students and  can enter Taiwan after March 1, 2022
Chinese learning students could apply for the Work Permit to have a legal job opportunity after staying in Tawan for more than a year.

1. Hand over all the required documents to our email:clc@mail.nptu.edu.tw

2. After you hang over all the required documents for our Chinese course application, we will give you an admission letter, then run out for the official letter from the Ministry of Education(MOE), Taiwan for you, it will take about 2 weeks.
All the documents will be soft files.

3. Take the "admission letter" and "official letter from the MOE to contact the "Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office" near you to apply for the Visa, it will take at least 1 week.

4. Send your Visa(PDF file) to us, and we will apply for your " Entry Permit" from the Taiwan Ministry of Education(MOE), it takes about 2 weeks, and you need to color print and download it to your phone while you are boarding and entering Taiwan.
Also, give us your flight information(with airline, date, and flight code ), must enter Taiwan from Taoyuan International Airport(Airport code: TPE), after we confirm the flight information we will book your quarantine hotel and self-management, and you can book the flight.

5. Foreign nationals are required to present a certificate of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result before they are allowed to board their flight to Taiwan.

The things you need to take:
1. The Entry Permit high-quality color-print version
2. NT dollars cash
3. a thermometer-for body temperature report during quarantine 
4. The masks you are used to wearing

1. Have a flight to Taiwan.
Keep in touch with our center by Line app, let us know when you are at the airport, go on the flight, arrive in Taiwan, have the Taiwan cell phone number,get on the anti-epidemic taxi,and chek-in in the quarantine hotel.
We need to know where are you and report to our MOE. 
NT$2000 to have a Taiwan cell phone SIM card at the airport.

2. Have the anti-epidemic taxi from Taoyuan International Airport(TPE) to the quarantine hotel in Kaohsiung.

3. Quarantine(from 2022/06/15)-NT$14000
-3 days Quarantine (from the next day of arrival-just stay in the room)
-4 days Self-management (can go outside during this period, but need to do the rapid-test that is negative, and wear a mask and maintain social distance from others. It is forbidden to enter the campus, take public transportation, and enter public places with large crowds.)
-Take a thermometer for yourself-students need to report their body temperature to two Line groups while doing quarantine 

2. After quarantine, take these to our office to register and attend classes
" Admission Letter from CLC,NPTU ",
"Passport(original and one photocopy)",
"Visa (resident visa)" ,
"Diploma and transcript (**authenticated by Taiwan Embassy / Taipei Economic and Cultural Office)-if you will study a degree in Taiwan"
"Two-inch passport photos "
"cash for tuition"(NT$24750/Term)
"cash for dormitory fees"(NT$9800)
"cash for textbooks(around NT$2500)
"cash for insurance fee"(NT$1500 for 3 months/a Term)

8. Others
NT$100,000 cash is the maximum while entry, it is recommended to take at least NT$60,000 with you in case your credit card couldn't be authorized successfully in Taiwan.
