[Course] The Spring 2025 Chinese Language Program starts on March 3, 2025. The registration deadline for a Chinese Learning Visa is January 20, 2025.

The class schedule for the Spring 2025 semester will be from March 3, 2025, to May 20, 2025.
[Overseas foreigners need to apply for a "Chinese-learning Visa" to come to Taiwan.]

  1. The student submits the application materials to the Chinese Language Center (CLC), and the center will issue the "Certificate of Enrollment Permit" (approximately 1 week) if the materials are correct.
  2. The student applies for a visa at the local Taiwan overseas office with documents such as the "Enrollment Permit Certificate" (approximately 2 weeks).
  3. After obtaining the visa, the student must provide a clear image (PDF/JPEG/PNG format) of the visa to the center, along with detailed flight information (flight code, take-off and landing times, etc.) via email.
  4. The student arrives in Taiwan by plane.
  5. The student must arrive at the CLC office by 10:00 AM on March 3rd (see contact email).

Application Information
If you are over 18 years old and have graduated from high school, please fill out the online application form and send a notice to clc@mail.nptu.edu.tw by January 20, 2025.

Fees - Payment in Cash

  • Tuition fee: NT$27,000 for 165 hours (1 term)
  • Teaching materials: NT$2,000 (1 set of teaching materials)
  • Group insurance fee: NT$2,250 per term
  • Dormitory fee: According to the period of stay

Note: Airport mobile phone SIM cards, hotel accommodation, and transportation expenses are the responsibility of the student.

Important Notes

  • A "Chinese-learning Visa" requires the student to study at least 15 hours per week.
  • The visa cannot be extended due to personal factors affecting attendance. Please be responsible for your own attendance.
  • Chinese-learning students are studying for further education and will not receive a formal degree from Pingtung University.
