Apply for the 2022 Winter Term until 2022/10/10(with a Chinese learning Visa)

Winter Term：2022/12/05~2023/02/16

1. Students should submit the application documents to the Chinese Language Center(CLC). If the documents are correct, CLC will issue an "Admission Letter" (about 1 week).

2. CLC will apply to the Ministry of Education(MOE) for an official letter that the student can apply for a Visa (about 1 week).
After the student receives the official letter, please take it as an attachment for the Visa application at the "Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office" nearby(about 2 weeks).

3. The student has obtained the Visa, please provide the Visa in a clear PDF version to CLC. While providing the Visa, also discuss with CLC about the flight to Taiwan Provide detailed information about the flight to Taiwan 1 week before the start of the Chinese course (airline, flight code, flight departure and landing time, etc.).

4. After confirming the flight information, CLC will assist in booking a quarantine hotel in Kaohsiung. The current quarantine standard is 3+4 days (1 person, 1 room).

5. CLC applies to MOE for the "Entry Permit" necessary for students to board and enter  Taiwan(about 1 week).

6. Student takes the flight with valid documents such as "Entry Permit" and passport.

7. Arrive in Taiwan and undergo quarantine (before boarding the flight to stay in an anti-epidemic hotel, you must contact CLC by Line at any time where you are and provide relevant information, so that CLC can report in MOE’s system)

8. 12/05 go to CLC’s office and start to learn Chinese!

【cost】

Tuition: NT$24750/150 hours (1 Term)

Textbooks: NT$1500 (2 sets of textbooks)

Group Insurance Fee: NT$1500/150 hours (1 Term)

Quarantine fee: NT$20000 (quarantine hotel, anti-epidemic taxis, Taiwan SIM card at the airport, etc.)

The dormitory in the campus: from NT$4800 (3-4 people room)

*The standard for a "Chinese Learning Visa" is for full-time Chinese-learning students with more than 150 hours of class.
CLC,NPTU offers 150 hours Chinese courses for a Term, with 3 hours of classes per day from Monday to Friday, personal factors affect the attendance rate so the Visa cannot be extended, please be responsible for yourself.

*Chinese-learning students do not have an official Pingtung University degree.
